Bio/EPK
MattJack is an actor, writer, & standup comedian based in Fayetteville, NC.Born in Washington State to South African parents, this dual-citizen has performed his standup across the US & around the world - including London, Dublin, & taking his award-nominated "Halfrican!" to the South African National Arts Festival. While living in South Africa, he founded "Naturally Caffeinated" - one of the first improv troupes in the country.Energetic, engaging, & always clean, MattJack’s comedy aims to uplift rather than divide. Through self-deprecation & absurd stories from his life, he blends a larger-than-life presence with down-to-earth relatability.As the Head Roaster for The Morning Jump Coffee Company, his material is also infused with absurdities from the coffee industry, tragic mishaps of roasts-gone-wrong, & ghost stories of roasting alone in a warehouse at 2am. His comedy includes notes of sarcasm, wit, & grapefruit.
